  • Responsible for Corporate Group Sales and Business Transient
  • Working directly with the Director of Sales and Marketing and the Director of Revenue Management to negotiate pricing and optimize production to positively impact hotel revenues
  • Building relationships thru proactive account solicitation and responsive sales opportunities; Activities could include sales calls, entertainment, FAM trips, site inspections, trade shows, etc.
  • Develops relationships within the community to strengthen and expand the customer base for sales opportunities
  • Manages and develops relationships with key internal and external stakeholders
  • Provides accurate & comprehensive reporting when needed
  • Using Knowledge of Market Trends and Target Customer Information to Maximize Revenue
  • Understanding competitors’ strengths/ weaknesses, current economic trends, and supply/demand for midtown
  • Executes and supports the operational aspects of business booked (I.E., generating proposals, writing contracts, customer correspondence, etc.)
  • Achieves personal sales goals
  • Gains understanding of the location’s primary target customer and service expectations; serves the customer by understanding their business, and business concerns, offering better business solutions
