The Corporate Investigator is responsible for investigating reports of internal theft, vandalism, fraud, suspicious activity, and violations of company policy under the direct guidance of the AMER GI Regional Manager and more experienced investigators. The Corporate Investigator utilizes technology, analysis, interviewing, and investigative techniques to protect and safeguard personnel, information, and assets.
Investigations are straightforward to moderate in nature, with regular collaboration and oversight from other investigators and the GI Regional Manager on escalated or sensitive matters. Corporate Investigators at this level work as part of a team, supporting local stakeholders, and are expected to learn and apply the concepts of continuous process improvement, innovation, and shared risk management.

A day in the life
The Corporate Investigator begins the morning reviewing their assigned caseload, prioritizing their day accordingly. They pull up CCTV footage to analyze a theft, looking through hours of video to identify suspects and preserve evidence. After lunch, they conduct an interview alongside another investigator, documenting statements carefully. They update case files in the management system, maintaining a high-level of report writing. Before wrapping up, they sync with their Regional Manager on an escalated fraud case and review trending patterns to help prevent future incidents. Every day blends analysis, collaboration, and attention to detail.
