Key Responsibilities
- Support attorneys with corporate, business, and transactional matters.
- Draft, review, and revise contracts, agreements, corporate governance documents, and other legal documents.
- Conduct legal research and prepare memoranda, pleadings, briefs, and other legal filings.
- Assist with litigation matters, including case preparation, discovery, court filings, and due diligence.
- Support mergers, acquisitions, corporate transactions, business restructuring, and other transactional matters.
- Assist attorneys with negotiations, dispute resolution, and legal risk assessments, as appropriate.
- Communicate professionally with clients, government agencies, opposing counsel, and other stakeholders.
- Manage multiple assignments while maintaining accuracy and meeting deadlines.
- Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
Qualifications
- Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited U.S. law school or an equivalent foreign law degree.
- One (1) to three (3) years of legal experience preferred; relevant internships, clerkships, or comparable legal experience will also be considered.
- Active California State Bar membership is preferred but not required.
- Pre-bar associates and recent law graduates awaiting bar admission are encouraged to apply.
- Strong legal research, writing, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
- Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and able to work independently and collaboratively.
- Applicants must be authorized to work in the United States.
Compensation
Salary: $70,000–$100,000 annually, commensurate with experience, qualifications, and licensure.
