Corporate Counsel Greater Cleveland Area
An established organization in the Greater Cleveland area is seeking a Corporate Counsel to join its legal team. This role offers the opportunity to work across a broad range of legal matters, partnering closely with business stakeholders on commercial transactions, governance, and strategic initiatives in a dynamic, global environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Commercial Contracting:
- Draft, review, and negotiate a variety of agreements with customers, vendors, and partners, ensuring alignment with business objectives while managing legal risk.
- Contracting Process & Systems:
- Support and help optimize the companys contract management processes, including administration and continuous improvement of contract lifecycle tools.
- Corporate Matters:
- Assist with corporate governance activities across domestic and international entities, including maintaining corporate records and supporting compliance requirements.
- M&A Support:
- Contribute to acquisition-related efforts, including due diligence review and coordination with internal teams and external advisors.
- Regulatory & Legal Guidance:
- Research and analyze applicable laws and regulations, providing clear, actionable guidance to business partners on evolving legal issues.
- Data Privacy & Security:
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on data protection initiatives and support ongoing compliance efforts related to privacy and information security.
