Overview

Our client is seeking an experienced Corporate Litigation Paralegal to join its legal team. This position will play a critical role in supporting litigation management, employment-related legal matters, garnishments, records management, and coordination with outside counsel. The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, and experienced in managing multiple legal matters simultaneously within a corporate legal environment.

Key Responsibilities

Litigation & Garnishments

  • Maintain litigation, claims, subpoena, and administrative matter files and records.
  • Track and monitor response deadlines, discovery schedules, hearings, settlements, and other key litigation milestones.
  • Coordinate service of process and support all phases of litigation, including litigation holds, document collection, discovery, and productions.
  • Serve as a liaison between internal stakeholders, insurance carriers, outside counsel, and third-party vendors.
  • Process and administer employee garnishments in compliance with applicable laws and company procedures.
  • Assist attorneys with case management, reporting, and legal documentation.

Employment Law & Human Resources Support

  • Support employment-related claims, agency charges, demand letters, investigations, and dispute resolution matters.
  • Coordinate the collection and organization of personnel files and employment-related records.
  • Maintain and update employment law templates, separation agreements, confidentiality agreements, restrictive covenant agreements, and policy acknowledgments.
  • Assist with immigration, employee benefits, compensation, and equity-related legal matters as needed.
  • Partner closely with Human Resources and outside employment counsel on ongoing matters and legal compliance initiatives.
  • Support internal investigations and employment-related audits.

Records Management & eDiscovery

  • Administer legal records retention, preservation, and destruction programs.
  • Coordinate litigation holds and maintain custody acknowledgments, releases, and related documentation.
  • Assist with the collection, review, transfer, and production of electronically stored information (ESI).
  • Ensure legal records are maintained in accordance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
  • Support eDiscovery efforts and document management processes.

Qualifications

Required

  • Bachelor's degree, Paralegal Certificate, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • 3+ years of litigation paralegal experience, preferably within a corporate legal department or law firm.
  • Experience supporting employment law matters, civil litigation, and legal records management.
  • Working knowledge of litigation procedures, discovery processes, and document preservation requirements.
  • Experience coordinating with outside counsel and managing multiple active legal matters.
  • Strong organizational, project management, and communication skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and legal case management systems.

Preferred

  • Experience with garnishment administration.
  • Knowledge of employment law, HR legal support, and eDiscovery processes.
  • Experience managing legal holds and records retention programs.
  • Prior experience in a corporate legal department.
