A well established law firm is seeking a mid-level Corporate Associate to join its transactional practice. This opportunity is ideal for an attorney looking to work on sophisticated mergers and acquisitions and other complex business transactions within a collaborative, team-oriented environment.
The ideal candidate will have strong experience supporting and leading transactional matters, excellent drafting and analytical skills, and a desire to work closely with clients and colleagues on strategic business initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
- Draft, review, and negotiate transactional documents related to mergers, acquisitions, and other corporate matters.
- Conduct and manage due diligence for business transactions, including reviewing organizational, contractual, and regulatory materials.
- Support clients through all phases of complex corporate transactions, from structuring through closing.
- Collaborate with attorneys and business professionals across practice groups to deliver strategic legal solutions.
- Advise clients on general corporate and transactional matters as part of an active business law practice.
- Maintain strong client relationships through responsive service and practical legal counsel.
Qualifications
- 3+ years of corporate transactional or M&A experience in a law firm setting
- Strong drafting, analytical, and organizational skills
- Excellent academic credentials
- Proven ability to manage multiple matters in a fast-paced environment
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively with attorneys, clients, and business professionals
- J.D. from an American Bar Association-accredited law school
- Licensed or eligible for admission in the applicable office jurisdiction
