Corporate Paralegal - Contracts

Position Summary:

The Corporate Paralegal supports various legal department staff members with substantive and administrative legal needs. The Corporate Paralegal will assist in a variety of law-related activities that do not require a law degree, including: document preparation and review; contract management; coordination and preparation of filings, reports and responses to regulators, business counter parties, internal clients and their respective representatives.  

Responsibilities:

  • Follow established company policies and procedures and apply acquired job skills to administrative legal needs
  • Manage client and subcontractor contracts and requirements
  • Support business immigration needs
  • Review and negotiate contracts with stakeholders
  • Act as a legal team liaison with sales and recruiting staff
  • Ensure staff compliance with legal contract process and procedures
  • Draft legal correspondence as well as substantive legal documents
  • Assist with editing, compiling and maintaining template agreements and agreement databases
  • Refer to senior staff for assistance with higher level problems that may arise
  • Other duties as assigned, including general office management

Qualifications:

  • Effective team player
  • Strong ability to interface with all levels of the organization
  • Excellent verbal and written communications skills is a must
  • Creative, outgoing, energetic person with a demonstrable track record of exceeding goals
  • Ability to multitask and work independently in a fast paced environment
  • Solid analytical and problem solving skills
  • Proven knowledge of MS Office products

$55,000.00-$70,000.00 Annual
