Corporate Paralegal (Corporate/Litigation/Employment Law)The Corporate Paralegal is a key member of the Legal Department, working closely with QTS business stakeholders and legal team members to support a wide range of legal matters. This role is vital to the department's overall effectiveness and success. The ideal candidate will possess strong written and verbal communication skills, exceptional attention to detail, and excellent organizational abilities.What You Will DoOrganize, maintain, and update litigation case filesConduct legal research on case law, statutes, regulations, and court rulesDraft pleadings, motions, subpoenas, discovery requests/responses, and affidavitsManage the discovery process, including document collection, review, and productionCoordinate with opposing counsel on discovery and scheduling mattersAssemble trial notebooks, organize exhibits, and prepare litigation holdsPrepare for and summarize deposition transcriptsTrack all litigation deadlines for filings, court appearances, and depositionsFile documents electronically with state and federal courtsCommunicate with clients, witnesses, court personnel, and opposing counselMaintain and organize case-related correspondence and evidenceAssist with due diligence on financial transactions and various litigation mattersMaintain electronic documents in the Legal department and/or the company's document repository on tracker and in SharePointPerform general administrative support duties, including faxing, photocopying, uploading, and coordinating mailingsAssist in managing and organizing legal and corporate documentation & quality control for past and present files to ensure accuracy and completenessSuggest and implement process improvement initiativesAssist legal team with other duties and projects as assignedWhat You Will Need To Be SuccessfulBachelor's Degree or equivalent professional experience3+ years of professional experience as a paralegal or equivalent job experienceKnowledge, Skills, And AbilitiesHands‑on, self‑starter who is disciplined and detail‑oriented with the ability to work independently as well as in a team setting that requires a highly accurate and timely work productExcellent listening, written, verbal, organizational, and interpersonal skillsAbility to learn ERP systemsExcels in a team‑oriented work environmentStrong work ethic and accountability to deadlinesAbility to work in a fast‑paced and evolving business environmentProficient computer skills including Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Excel), Box, and DocuSignExcellent analytical and time‑management skillsAbility to multitask, prioritize, and manage time efficientlyMust be able to maintain a high degree of confidentialityPossesses ambition and an optimistic attitudeThe PerksQRest SabbaticalEmployee Stock Purchase PlanQTS scholarship for dependentsEagle Club award trip eligibilityPaid volunteer daysTuition assistance, parental leave, and military leave assistanceTotal RewardsThis role is eligible for a competitive benefits package that includes medical, dental, vision, life, and disability insurance; 401(k) retirement plan; flexible spending and HSA accounts; paid holidays; paid time off; paid volunteer days; employee assistance program; tuition assistance; parental leave; military leave assistance; QTS scholarship for dependents; wellness program; and other company benefits.
