Position SummaryWe are seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized Corporate Real Estate Paralegal to support legal and transactional matters related to real estate investments, acquisitions, dispositions, leasing, and financing. This role will work closely with the General Counsel, internal stakeholders, and external partners to manage entity structures, prepare transaction documents, and coordinate complex real estate closings.ResponsibilitiesMaintain and track corporate structure, ensuring proper documentation of ownership, authority, and governanceManage execution of documents, including tracking signature authority and ensuring proper authorizationMaintain organized digital and physical filing systems for entity records and transaction documentsFormat, proofread, and finalize legal documents with a high level of accuracyConduct due diligence, including review of title commitments, surveys, organizational documents, and zoning materialsLiaise with title companies, lenders, outside counsel, tenants, and vendorsTrack critical dates, deadlines, and deliverables across multiple transactionsAssist with post-closing matters, including recordings and document distributionLegal (Title & Survey)Assist the General Counsel in reviewing title exception documents, identifying issues, and drafting title memoranda and title objection lettersAssist the General Counsel in reviewing surveys and drafting revisionsLoans & Purchase and Sale TransactionsWork with the General Counsel to prepare closing checklists and closing instructionsReview transaction documents for completeness, including missing information and exhibitsPrepare first drafts of agreements incorporating LOI terms, as well as amendments and related real estate documentsReview judgment and lien searches under the guidance of the General CounselComplete documents and assemble exhibits for closingAssist in coordinating the preparation of settlement statementsParticipate in checklist calls and transaction updatesCoordinate closing logistics for acquisitions, dispositions, and loan transactionsAssemble and manage closing binders and signature packagesRequired Knowledge & ExperienceStrong understanding of entity/corporate structure, governance, and authorityFamiliarity with real estate transaction documents, including:Purchase and Sale AgreementsDeeds, assignments, and bills of saleCommercial loan documents and closing signature packagesKnowledge of signing authority and execution processesQualificationsBachelor's Degree required.Paralegal certificate from an accredited programMinimum of 3 years of general full-time work experienceMinimum of 2 years of full-time paralegal experience in a transactional practiceStrong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize and multi-taskAdvanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)Ability to communicate effectively and professionally, both written and verbal, with internal teams and external partiesAbility to work independently with minimal supervisionAbility to thrive in a fast‑paced, entrepreneurial environmentStrong work ethic and attention to detail#J-18808-Ljbffr
