LHH has partnered with a valued client to search for a Corporate ParalegalOffice Location: Candidate can sit in any of the following locations - Washington, DC, Tysons Corner, Virginia, Baltimore, MD, Bethesda, MD , Columbia, MD or Frederick, MDHybrid 4/1 ScheduleCompensation: 110k-125kResponsibilitiesAssist with mergers and acquisitions, financing transactions, business formations, restructurings, and other corporate transactions.Prepare and maintain corporate records, resolutions, consents, and governance documents.Manage entity formations, qualifications, and compliance filings across multiple jurisdictions.Coordinate transaction closings, including closing checklists, signature packets, and closing binders.Perform corporate and legal research using Westlaw, LexisNexis, and other resources.Communicate with clients, lenders, accountants, and other parties to facilitate transactions and meet deadlines.QualificationsBachelor's degree or equivalent experience; paralegal certification preferred.7+ years of experience as a corporate or transactional paralegal in a law firm.Experience supporting mergers and acquisitions, financing transactions, and entity structuring matters.Strong knowledge of corporate governance and multi-state entity management.Ability to manage multiple transactions simultaneously.Excellent organizational, communication, and project management skills.Benefit offerings include medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short-term disability, additional voluntary benefits, EAP program, commuter benefits, and 401K plan.
