Our client is a nonprofit organization dedicated to breaking the cycle of intergenerational homelessness by providing housing, programs, and advocacy to vulnerable populations. Through services like crisis housing, trauma-informed care, and ongoing support for program participants, they aim to equip individuals and families not only with housing, but with tools to become permanently self-sufficient. They are seeking a Corporate Partnerships Manager to join their diverse, passionate, mission-oriented team. This is a meaningful opportunity for a driven fundraising professional to manage and grow a robust portfolio of corporate partners, generate revenue through sponsorships and strategic giving, and play a central role in advancing the organization’s mission.
This is an in-person role based out of the organization’s Santa Monica and/or El Segundo offices.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute a comprehensive corporate giving strategy encompassing sponsorships, corporate foundation grants, and employee-driven philanthropy programs
- Identify, cultivate, solicit, and steward a portfolio of corporate partners; convert one-time supporters into recurring annual partners through thoughtful engagement and relationship management
- Conduct proactive prospect research to identify mission-aligned companies, understand their CSR priorities, and develop targeted outreach strategies
- Collaborate with the Institutional Giving and Grants teams to align strategy, avoid duplication, and maximize funding opportunities
- Design tailored partnership packages integrating brand visibility, social impact, and employee engagement opportunities such as volunteer activations and site visits
- Lead planning and execution of signature fundraising events, securing sponsorships and ensuring strong donor stewardship before, during, and after each event
- Meet or exceed annual fundraising targets, maintain an accurate pipeline, and provide regular reporting to development leadership
Qualifications:
- 4-6 years of fundraising experience with a demonstrated track record in corporate partnerships, sponsorships, or nonprofit development — strong fundraising instincts are essential
- Bachelor’s degree is strongly preferred, but not required
- Proven ability to build and manage corporate relationships, navigate organizational structures, and align giving opportunities to partner goals
- Experience managing fundraising events from concept through execution, including securing sponsorships and coordinating corporate engagement
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to craft compelling narratives for both technical and non-technical audiences
- Proficiency with donor management systems (Salesforce preferred) and familiarity with prospect research tools such as Instrumentl
- Collaborative self-starter with strong organizational skills and the ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Genuine passion for the mission of ending homelessness; existing relationships in the LA-area corporate philanthropy or CSR community are a plus
