The Role

HII has an exciting opportunity for a Procurement Analyst 1 at the Corporate office in Newport News, VA! As a Corporate Procurement Analyst 1, duties will include:

Processing procurement requests for indirect supplies and services in support of the Corporate Office which may be forwarded to NNS Supply Chain for procurement, or executed by the Procurement Analyst at Corporate.

Primarily sourcing consulting and other professional support services against Master Service Agreements for the Corporate Office, compiling and analyzing rate data to determine price reasonableness.

Conducting market research for new requirements, and competitions to fill requirements when applicable.

Reviewing proposals, negotiates prices, selects or recommends suppliers, analyzes trends, and maintains necessary records.

Providing customer service and training to departments within the Corporate Office, and other duties as assigned

Must Have

Bachelors Degree in a relevant field and 0 years of relevant exempt experience.
