Job Summary
The Corporate Safety Manager is responsible for developing, implementing, and continuously improving environmental, health, and safety (EHS) programs that protect employees, ensure regulatory compliance, and support operational excellence across Zeus manufacturing operations. This role partners closely with plant leadership to identify and mitigate risk, foster a proactive safety culture, lead compliance initiatives, conduct audits and investigations, and provide EHS guidance that supports safe and efficient manufacturing operations.

- Bachelor''s degree in Occupational Safety, Environmental Health, Engineering, Industrial Technology, or a related field preferred.
- Three (3)+ years of environmental, health, and safety experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
- Experience interpreting and applying OSHA regulations and safety standards.
- Experience conducting incident investigations, performing root cause analysis, and implementing corrective actions.
- Experience developing and delivering employee safety training programs.
- Multi-site manufacturing experience is preferred.
- OSHA 30-Hour Certification and/or professional certifications such as ASP or CSP are preferred.

- Strong knowledge of OSHA regulations and environmental, health, and safety principles in a manufacturing environment.

- Partner with plant leadership to foster a proactive safety culture through employee engagement, coaching, and accountability.
- Ensure compliance with OSHA, EPA, and other applicable federal, state, and local environmental, health, and safety regulations.
- Conduct facility safety audits, inspections, risk assessments, and incident investigations to identify hazards, determine root causes, and implement corrective and preventive actions.
- Maintain OSHA recordkeeping requirements, Safety Data Sheets (SDS), written safety programs, emergency response documentation, and other required regulatory records.
- Coordinate workers'' compensation case management in partnership with Human Resources and insurance providers.
- Develop and deliver safety training programs and facilitate site Safety Committees to promote employee engagement, accountability, and continuous improvement.
- Partner with Operations, Engineering, Maintenance, Human Resources, and Corporate leadership to integrate safety into operations, evaluate new equipment and manufacturing processes, and support continuous improvement initiatives.
- Support environmental compliance activities, including waste management, permitting, inspections, and regulatory reporting.
- Assist with property insuance inspections, loss prevention initiatives, and corporate safety audits.
