A leading MEP contractor is seeking a Safety Program Manager to support enterprise-wide safety initiatives across the organization. This role focuses on strengthening high-risk safety programs, ensuring regulatory compliance, and driving continuous improvement in safety performance. This person will play a key role in shaping standards, partnering cross-functionally, and reducing operational risk. It's an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys both corporate safety program development and hands‑on collaboration with field teams.The Role:Act as the subject matter expert for specialized, high-risk safety areas such as fall protection, rigging & crane operations, electrical safety, LOTO, confined space and other critical risk programsDesign, refine, and manage safety policies, procedures, and training resources across the organizationEvaluate regulatory changes and translate requirements into actionable business practicesLead program audits, assessments, and gap analyses to strengthen compliance and effectivenessPartner with internal teams to investigate incidents, identify root causes, and implement sustainable improvementsWork in partnership with the Safety Director to develop strategic initiatives that improve safety performance and operational excellenceThe Candidate:A minimum of 5-7 years proven experience working in the construction industry. Mechanical/HVAC experience desiredDemonstrated expertise in developing corporate safety programs, standards and training materials. Applying OSHA and DOT requirements in a corporate settingBachelor Degree in occupational safety or related disciplineCSP or similar BCSP certificationA strong verbal and written communication skills.
