Corporate Securities Associate (Full-Time) (Hybrid in NYC)
Location: Hybrid schedule in NYC
Salary: $260K - $365K Base Salary

Must Haves:
Candidates must have experience in securities and capital markets. Additional experience in other corporate areas is a plus.
• Candidates must have experience in a highly rated securities practice at a NY firm.
• Preference for candidates with stellar law firm employment history (limited changes since law school graduation).
• Candidates must have top academic credentials.

My Client is looking for a Corporate Securities Associate to join our diverse corporate practice in NYC. This position will focus on securities and capital markets.

Skills & Responsibilities:

• Draft materials relating to public and private offerings of securities, SEC disclosure requirements, and corporate governance matters.
• Conduct legal research and analysis.
• Communicate and correspond effectively with colleagues, clients, and other counsel; establish and maintain effective working relationships.
• Must have an understanding of compliance and disclosure related securities laws ('34 Act, '33 Act, Regulations S-K, S-X, and MA).
• Perform legal research primarily in federal and state securities law.
• Ability to use library reference materials and/or electronic resource tools in order to maintain expertise.
• Communicate effectively in English orally and in writing; able to organize and prioritize workload; able to understand and follow written and oral directions.

Education:
• JD degree
• Bachelor's degree
• Must be admitted to practice law in the State of New York.

Experience:
• Candidates must have securities and capital markets experience. Additional experience in other corporate areas is a plus.
• Candidates must have experience in a highly rated securities practice at a NY firm.
