Position Overview:
As an Unarmed Corporate Security Officer, you will be responsible for maintaining a safe and secure corporate environment by monitoring premises, enforcing policies, controlling access, and providing exceptional customer service.
Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor and patrol assigned areas to ensure safety and security.
- Control access points and verify identification of employees, contractors, and visitors.
- Respond promptly and professionally to incidents, emergencies, and alarms.
- Prepare clear, accurate, and timely incident reports.
- Provide exceptional customer service while maintaining a professional security presence.
- Enforce company policies, procedures, and site-specific regulations.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Minimum of two years of security experience preferred; corporate security experience strongly preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to remain calm, professional, and decisive in high-pressure situations.
- Proficiency with smartphones, incident reporting applications, and email communication.
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
- Ability to consistently work 8-hour shifts and overtime when required.
Requirements:
- Valid California BSIS Guard Card.
- Ability to pass a background investigation, including California Live Scan.
- Reliable transportation.
- Ability to occasionally lift up to 35 pounds.
- Ability to stand and walk for the majority of an 8-hour shift.
- Ability to regularly climb stairs.
