Job Description:

This job is responsible for executing highly complex and sensitive corporate security activities essential to protecting the safety of employees and bank facilities. Key responsibilities include conducting behavioral threat assessments, oversight of the bank’s security preparedness, and management of the bank’s security technology and applications. The Security Preparedness Manager is a key role within the Global Corporate Security function responsible for advancing enterprise-wide readiness and resilience against critical events. This role designs and delivers robust training programs, simulation exercises, and red team engagements to rigorously test defenses and response capabilities. It also oversees comprehensive security reviews of key facilities and leads Threat and Vulnerability Assessments (TVAs) across the global footprint to identify and mitigate risk exposures. Through structured after-action reviews, the Security Preparedness Manager drives continuous improvement, ensuring lessons learned are translated into strengthened protocols, enhanced coordination, and a more agile, effective security posture across the organization.

Responsibilities:

+ Conducts elevated security exercises, including red team assessments, to drive a threat vulnerability assessment within the risk framework + Provides oversight of Video Systems Management, ATM security, Physical Identity Access Management and Security Systems Credential Management + Manages Life Safety program implementation across a broad geography + Drive enterprise readiness for critical events through training, exercises, and red team programs(simulated adversary exercises to test defenses and response) + Conduct security reviews of critical facilities and lead Threat Vulnerability Assessments (TVAs) across the global footprint + Lead after-action reviews to strengthen response and continuously improve capabilities + Conducts threat assessments to mitigate the risk of workplace violence and other safety and security related threats + Partners on development of threat management and workplace violence training

Required Qualifications:

+ Demonstrated experience in corporate security, risk management, or security preparedness, ideally within a large, complex organization + Proven ability to conduct threat and vulnerability assessments, including workplace violence risk mitigation + Experience designing and delivering security training programs, exercises, and simulations (e.g., red team or adversarial testing) + Strong knowledge of enterprise security systems, including video systems, access management, and credentialing controls + Experience leading or supporting life safety programs and emergency preparedness initiatives across multiple locations + Ability to conduct security reviews of critical facilities and translate findings into actionable mitigation strategies + Strong background in incident analysis and after-action reviews, with a focus on continuous improvement + Excellent analytical and critical thinking skills, with the ability to solve complex security challenges + Strong written and verbal communication skills, including reporting and presenting to stakeholders + Proven ability to manage multiple stakeholders and collaborate across functions + Demonstrated experience in policy, procedure, and risk framework adherence and management + Strong decision-making capabilities in high-pressure or sensitive situations + Track record of driving change management and continuous improvement initiatives + High level of professional judgment, discretion, and integrity when handling sensitive security matters
