The 2027 Ulta Beauty Internship is a structured 10-week program designed to develop future talent and provide interns with a unique and impactful development experience. This program is tailored for rising college Juniors and Seniors, offering Corporate, Field, and Distribution Center internship tracks. The internship will be hybrid for Corporate interns and in-person for Distribution Center and Field interns. Interns will gain hands-on experience in Ulta Beauty's operations while contributing to business needs, engaging in meaningful projects, and broadening their professional development. The internship program provides real-world experience directly related to the academic discipline and career goals, offering a better understanding of career options.

TEAM OVERVIEW:

The Corporate Strategy team is responsible for developing Ulta Beauty's enterprise strategy and long-term vision and identifying and evaluating new growth opportunities.

The Corporate Strategy Intern will support key strategic initiatives, with a focus on competitive insights, long-term strategy development, and Investor Day preparation. The intern will conduct research and analysis, synthesize insights, and help inform strategic priorities and growth opportunities.

INTERNSHIP RESPONSIBILITIES:

As an intern, you will contribute to achieving the following goals:

• Support market and competitive intelligence by monitoring key competitors, industry trends, and shifts across the beauty and retail landscape.
• Conduct research, benchmarking, and analysis to generate insights that inform long-term strategy and growth priorities.
• Assist in evaluating strategic opportunities through research, analysis of market dynamics, and synthesis of quantitative and qualitative findings.
• Support Investor Day preparation through peer benchmarking, strategic analysis, and development of materials in partnership with Corporate Strategy, Finance, and Investor Relations.
• Support development of executive-ready presentations that synthesize research, analysis, and strategic implications.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• Currently pursuing a bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or a related field.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to synthesize data and research into clear insights.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Demonstrated experience leveraging AI-powered tools to conduct research, analyze data, synthesize insights, and support informed business decision-making.
• Intellectual curiosity and interest in strategy, retail, consumer businesses, and competitive dynamics.
• Highly collaborative, organized, and comfortable working both independently and in a team environment.
• Prior coursework or experience in strategy, consulting, finance, analytics, retail, or consumer products is a plus.
• Desire to work in a fast-paced environment and interact with various levels of leadership

REQUIREMENTS:

• Chicagoland-area candidates are preferred.
• Must be a rising Junior or Senior enrolled in an accredited undergraduate university in the summer of 2027.
• Previous work experience and active involvement with on-campus organizations or activities.
• Strong organizational and time management skills, attention to detail, and sense of urgency.

The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $0.00 / Hour. Exact pay will be based on factors including, but not limited to relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, level, shift, geographic location, and business and organizational needs.
