Compensation

$310,000 – $390,000+

A premier global law firm is seeking a Corporate – Structured & Specialty Finance Associate Attorney to join its New York office.

This opportunity is ideal for an attorney interested in representing private equity sponsors, banks, direct lenders, specialty finance companies, institutional investors, and corporate borrowers in sophisticated structured finance and specialty lending transactions.

Ideal Background

3–6 years of structured finance, specialty finance, leveraged finance, or banking & finance experience gained at a sophisticated law firm

• Experience representing banks, private equity sponsors, direct lenders, asset managers, specialty finance companies, institutional investors, and corporate borrowers

• Experience handling structured lending, asset-backed finance, warehouse facilities, receivables financings, securitization-related transactions, fund finance, subscription credit facilities, NAV financings, or other specialty finance transactions

• Experience drafting and negotiating credit agreements, security agreements, collateral documents, intercreditor agreements, commitment papers, guarantees, and related financing documents

• Experience coordinating due diligence, transaction management, and complex financing closings involving multiple parties

• Familiarity with private credit, structured products, acquisition finance, capital markets, or securitization is a plus

• Strong drafting, negotiation, analytical, organizational, and communication skills

• Ability to independently manage sophisticated finance transactions while maintaining significant client interaction

• Excellent academic credentials

J.D. from an ABA-accredited law school required

New York bar admission required or ability to become admitted
