Job Summary:
We are seeking a Corporate Chef to lead the innovation and development of new products from concept to launch.
Major responsibilities will include:
- Develop new menu items for implementation to our locations. This will include writing recipes and formulas consistent with established methodologies.
- Author training materials for new menu items as part of the implementation process to ensure consistent execution.
- Participate in sales meetings to new and existing clients.
- Some overnight travel required
- Presenting a clean and professional image and representing FujiSan in a professional manner
- Performs other duties that may be assigned
Minimum Requirements:
Education & Experience
- Bachelor's degree (Preferred)
- Culinary degree (Strongly Preferred)
- 5 years experience as a sushi chef (Required)
- 3 years experience as an R&D sushi chef proficient in developing recipes for products to be sold in a grab-n-go environment (Preferred)
- Microsoft Office products at an intermediate level proficiency (Required)
- ServSafe certified (Required)
