Location: Hybrid (Multi-State Operations)
Pay Range: $115,000 - $135,000 annually

Responsibilities

• 
  
• Manage federal, state, and local tax compliance, including income tax, sales and use tax, franchise tax, property tax, payroll tax, and indirect tax filings
• 
  
• Prepare and review tax provisions, tax account reconciliations, journal entries, and income tax disclosures in accordance with GAAP
• 
  
• Lead multi-state tax reporting activities and ensure timely, accurate tax filings across all jurisdictions
• 
  
• Partner with Accounting, Finance, Payroll, and external advisors to support audits, regulatory examinations, and tax notice resolution
• 
  
• Research tax issues and provide guidance on business transactions, organizational growth initiatives, and tax-efficient planning opportunities
• 
  
• Develop and enhance tax processes, internal controls, documentation, and compliance procedures to improve efficiency and audit readiness
• 
  
• Support financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and special projects related to tax strategy and organizational growth
• 
  

Qualifications

• 
  
• 5+ years of progressive tax experience in public accounting, corporate tax, or a combination of both, with strong multi-state tax compliance experience
• 
  
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Taxation required; CPA strongly preferred
• 
  
• Demonstrated expertise in tax provision preparation, federal and state tax regulations, GAAP accounting for income taxes, and managing multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment
