    Job Description

Ready to take your career global?

Make your mark at one of the biggest names in payments. We're looking for a Corporate Travel Buyer to join our ever evolving Global Procurement Team and help shape the future of global commerce. In this role, you will drive the strategy, partnerships, and innovations that enable employees to travel efficiently, safely, and cost effectively across our global organization. Your work will directly influence business performance, traveler experience, supplier value, and event outcomes by securing world class travel and event solutions that support our growth. Working alongside cross functional leaders and global partners, you will help create scalable programs, strengthen supplier relationships, and deliver measurable impact that advances Global Payments' mission of powering commerce worldwide while supporting the evolving needs of our people and business.

    What you'll own

    • Drive a best in class global travel program that delivers measurable cost savings, enhances traveler experiences, and supports business growth across multiple regions.
    • Lead strategic sourcing and commercial negotiations to secure high value agreements with travel and event suppliers, maximizing value, mitigating risk, and improving service performance.
    • Influence travel and event strategy through data driven insights that improve policy effectiveness, increase program adoption, and strengthen visibility into spend, savings, and business outcomes.
    • Build trusted partnerships across Finance, Human Resources, Safety and Security, and business leaders to ensure travel solutions align with organizational priorities, duty of care requirements, and evolving business needs.
    • Champion continuous improvement and supplier accountability by establishing performance standards, monitoring results, and implementing enhancements that elevate quality, compliance, sustainability, and operational excellence.

    What you'll bring

    • Experience in procurement, corporate travel management, event management, or a related sourcing environment, with a proven record of delivering business value through strategic supplier partnerships.
    • Strong negotiation, contract management, and supplier relationship management capabilities, with the ability to achieve favorable commercial and service outcomes.
    • Analytical skills that enable you to transform travel and spend data into actionable recommendations that improve performance, efficiency, and decision making.
    • Ability to successfully manage multiple priorities and stakeholders in a fast paced, international, matrixed organization while maintaining a strong focus on results.
    • Excellent communication, relationship building, and project management skills, supported by proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Copilot.

It's a bonus if you have

    • Experience supporting global or multi regional travel programs and navigating regional travel requirements and supplier landscapes.
    • Professional certifications such as Global Business Travel Association (GBTA), Chartered Institute of Procurement & Supply (CIPS), or Certified Meeting Professional (CMP).
    • Knowledge of sustainability, Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) practices, or diversity sourcing initiatives within travel and event procurement.
