    About The Opportunity

    The Principal SDR is a senior-track opportunity designed for high-performing sales development professionals who thrive on strategic ownership and revenue impact. In this role, you will partner directly with six Principal Account Executives to identify, develop, and accelerate high-value opportunities valued at $750K+ across SME and emerging mid-market accounts. You will play a critical role in improving win rates, building pipeline within targeted verticals, and influencing deal outcomes through proactive stakeholder engagement. This is an exciting opportunity to help shape a new career path within the SDR organization while serving as a leader, mentor, and trusted strategic partner.

     

    Key Responsibilities

    • Serve as the dedicated SDR partner for an assigned group of six Principal Account Executives (PAEs).
    • Generate and develop high-value opportunities valued at $750K+ within upper-SME and emerging mid-market accounts.
    • Achieve a target of two high-value opportunities per PAE each month.
    • Conduct strategic prospecting focused on organizations with growing travel complexity and expansion potential.
    • Develop pipeline within key ICP verticals including Finance & Banking, Venture Capital, Private Equity, Bio, and Stage & Screen/Production.
    • Create tailored outbound strategies aligned to targeted industry segments.
    • Identify and engage marquee brands and high-value prospects.
    • Facilitate monthly pipeline strategy sessions with PAEs to identify actions that accelerate deal progression and close rates.
    • Partner with PAEs on account planning, stakeholder mapping, and opportunity positioning.
    • Remain actively engaged throughout the sales cycle beyond initial qualification.
    • Drive multi-threading across multiple stakeholders within target accounts.
    • Support follow-up activities, prospect re-engagement, and overall deal momentum.
    • Help reduce opportunity drop-off and improve conversion rates on complex sales opportunities.
    • Provide industry expertise and facilitate ad hoc training sessions within the SDR organization.
    • Build and maintain cross-functional relationships that support collaboration and knowledge sharing.
    • Lead strategic projects and departmental initiatives as required.
    • Represent the SDR organization and act as Team Lead at industry events and conferences.
    • Source and attend networking events, conferences, and industry gatherings throughout the NYC market.
    • Build meaningful relationships within key industry ecosystems to generate pipeline through in-person engagement.
    • Support market visibility and relationship-building initiatives.
    • Maintain strong Salesforce and Gong hygiene, ensuring accurate tracking of pipeline health and deal strategy.
    • Other duties and tasks as assigned

    Experience & Qualifications

    • Proven success as a Senior SDR with a strong record of self-generated pipeline and win performance.
    • Demonstrated experience developing and progressing large, multi-stakeholder sales opportunities.
    • Strong ability to build relationships across multiple stakeholders within an account.
    • Experience with or strong aptitude for multi-threading strategies.
    • Comfortable working within a targeted, vertical-based ICP model.
    • Experience prospecting into Finance & Banking, VC, Private Equity, Bio, or Stage & Screen/Production industries is advantageous.
    • Strong Salesforce CRM experience.
    • Strong Gong platform experience and disciplined pipeline management practices.
    • Ability to analyze deal strategy and pipeline health.
    • Excellent collaboration skills and experience partnering closely with Account Executives.
    • Willingness and ability to attend in-person networking events and conferences in the NYC market.
    • Strong communication, relationship-building, and strategic planning skills.

    For this position, we anticipate offering an annual salary of $100,000. Base salary is dependent on relevant factors, including experience, geographic location, and job requirements.
