The Corps Program Assistant reports to Corps Officers and supervises volunteers in a full-time, non-exempt role focused on developing and coordinating youth programs to foster spiritual growth and community engagement.
Responsibilities include supervising Sunday youth activities, recruiting volunteers, organizing transportation, recruiting children for summer camp, and linking participants to social service initiatives. They oversee program operations, maintain records, and promote positive community relations.
The role requires management, organizational, and office skills, with a valid driver’s license or plans to obtain one within six months. A BS degree in Ministry or related experience is preferred.
The position supports overall corps ministry, encourages participation, and ensures safety, property maintenance, and effective program delivery to serve the community in line with the organization's mission.
