The Correctional Captain is a permanent, full-time position with the Alabama Department of Corrections. Positions are located throughout the state. This is responsible correctional work supervising the security activities of a correctional institution, assisting in operating a work release center, or performing duties in a specialized area of corrections in a statewide capacity.
