Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a government location, where you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, and remain visible to help deter security-related incidents. This is a driving post requiring a valid driver’s license in the job state. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to staff, visitors, and/or the public by carrying out site-specific procedures, access control activities, and emergency response support within a government corrections location.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting security-related concerns to site contacts and/or Allied Universal leadership.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned buildings, grounds, housing-related perimeters, and other restricted areas to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials and/or permissions, and assist with movement control procedures in accordance with post orders and location policies.
• Communicate with facility personnel and first responders as needed during medical, fire, behavioral, and/or security-related events, following established protocols and maintaining detailed incident records.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
