Job Responsibilities
Base Pay Adjustments Plus Institution Incentives Minimum Institutions
Hospital Team (Prisma)
$54,682 - $55,704
The salary amounts provided represent the minimum and maximum ranges based on years of current agency service plus incentive structures at SCDC. It is important to note that not all individuals may qualify for the highest tier of base pay adjustments and incentives.
Ensures safety, order, and control of inmates housed in the community hospitals and all other duties assigned by the Division of Security Management.
Inspects posts to ensure proper performance of duties.
Is up to date on security status of inmates assigned to the hospital.
Ensures control of security keys/equipment at the community hospital.
Prepares, submits, and reviews operational and administrative reports.
Responds to complaints and concerns from hospital staff.

Minimum and Additional Requirements
Preferred Qualifications
Prefer 18 months' work experience in correctional, security, or police work, one (1) year of which is in a medium/maximum correctional setting.
