Position Overview
ProTouch Staffing is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse - Correctional for a 13-week travel assignment at Cermak Health Services of Cook County in Chicago, IL.
The ideal candidate will have recent Med/Surg acute-care experience along with previous Correctional Nursing experience. This is a high-accountability environment requiring strong clinical judgment, adaptability, and the ability to work effectively with a multidisciplinary team.
Requirements
Active RN license
2+ years of recent acute-care Med/Surg experience
Correctional Nursing experience required
BLS required
Strong assessment, documentation, and patient-care skills
Ability to work independently in a correctional healthcare environment
Schedule
3×12-hour shifts
7:00 AM - 7:30 PM
36 guaranteed hours per week
Every other weekend / 2 weekends per month
No block scheduling accommodations
No call
Mandatory Floating
This is a mandatory float facility. Clinicians are required to float within their scope of practice based on facility needs and at the facility's discretion.
