Under the indirect supervision of the Director of Nursing the Corrections EMS Clinician is responsible for assessing individuals entering the jail and identifying needs for medical treatment prior to acceptance into the facility.

Once accepted they continue to monitor medical needs during the intake process and respond to any medical emergencies in the intake areas.

The Corrections EMS Clinician collaborates with all other medical staff RN LPNs and Medical Providers and corrections staff working in intake.
