As an Unarmed Patrol Officer in a government corrections setting, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and report security-related concerns. This driving position requires a valid driver's license in the job state. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to staff, visitors, and authorized personnel by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and emergency response activities within a correctional facility environment.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of assigned interior and exterior areas, including perimeters, access points, and parking areas, while reporting observed hazards, unusual activity, and policy violations.
• Monitor access to designated areas by verifying authorization, documenting visitor and contractor activity, and directing individuals according to established facility procedures.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate personnel and preparing clear, accurate reports.
• Support a professional environment by maintaining a visible presence, following post orders, and helping to deter unauthorized access and prohibited activity.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver's license is required in the state where the job is located.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
