Are you a Licensed Practical Nurse looking for a FRESH START? If so, we can help YOU! HANSTAFF is a nationwide healthcare staffing company that has partnered with Correctional Facilities across your State to help them find AMAZING Nurses. We’re looking for you to become a valued member of the healthcare team at our client’s medical facility!

Pay Rate: $40 / hour

LPN Details
  • Full Time Schedules 
  • Some weekends may be required
  • 8 or 12 hour shifts available depending on the facility
  • Contract Position (flexible with shift availability is a plus)

  • day shift from 6am-7pm
  • night shift from 6pm-7am
  • Must be able to work 3 days per week and rotating weekends

LPN Duties
  • Provide direct patient care under the supervision of registered nurses and physicians. Perform routine patient assessments and document findings accurately.
  • Administer medications as prescribed by physicians and maintain proper documentation of medication administration.
  • Regularly monitor and record patients' vital signs, such as blood pressure, pulse rate, temperature, and respiration rate.
  • Assist with wound care, dressings, and rehabilitation procedures.
  • Ensure accurate and timely documentation of patient information, progress, and assessments using electronic medical records (EMR) or other designated systems.
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals, including physicians, registered nurses, and other members of the interdisciplinary team, to develop and implement comprehensive care plans.
  • Educate patients and their families about healthcare procedures, medications, and post-treatment care instructions to promote effective self-management and recovery.
  • Follow established infection control protocols, including proper hand hygiene, use of personal protective equipment (PPE), and safe disposal of medical waste.
  • Act swiftly and effectively during emergencies, implementing appropriate nursing intervention and alerting the appropriate personnel as necessary.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives, ensuring adherence to best practices, policies, and regulatory requirements.
  • Maintains compliance and complies with annual requirements
  • Successfully completes required employment-related documentation, testing, and screenings in a timely manner

LPN Qualifications
  • Graduation from an accredited educational institution
  • Licensed as a Licensed Practical Nurse by the State in SC. The license MUST be in good standing
  • 1 year of experience
