Shift Details:

• 
  5.30 am - 2.00pm
  

Certified Medication Tech Duties & Responsibilities:

• 
  Provide direct patient care under the supervision of a Registered Nurse or physician.
  
• 
  Administer medications under RN supervision in compliance with policy and regulations
  
• 
  Document medication administration and reasons for non-administration in the MAR
  
• 
  Follow infection control procedures and safety protocols during medication delivery
  
• 
  Participate in audits and report adverse reactions to supervisors
  
• 
  Maintain medication supplies and uphold HIPAA confidentiality standards
  

Minimum Qualifications 

• 
  High School Graduate or equivalent
  
• 
  1 year related experience in a medical environment preferred 
  
• 
  Must be certified a a Medication Technician in the state within which services are provided and have current CPR Certification. 
  
• 
  Copy of all current required certifications and compliance documents (Healthcare Provider BLS certification; TB screening with negative PPD, QuantiFERON-TB Gold, or T-SPOT results; Hepatitis B Consent/Declination Form; and proof of Rubella, Rubeola, and Varicella vaccination or titers ).
