As an Unarmed Security Professional supporting a government corrections location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and provide exceptional customer service and communication. Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to staff, visitors, and authorized personnel at a government correctional location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of assigned buildings, grounds, access points, and perimeter areas to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor access to assigned areas, verify credentials as directed, maintain visitor and vehicle logs, and report irregularities according to site procedures.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate personnel and document actions taken.
• Complete accurate daily activity reports, incident reports, and other required documentation while maintaining professionalism and confidentiality.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
