Cortez - Aggregate Crusher Plant Operator

Our people division is growing, and we are looking for an Aggregate Crusher Plant Operator with our Cortez Site Services department. The ideal candidate will provide labor support for operations of Surface CHAP and EL Russ Crushers.

Responsibilities:

• Operate the Surface CHAP and EL Russ Crushers.

• Operate hand tools and cleaning equipment as required

• Operate a skid steer when necessary to support clean-up activities

• Operation of 980 and 992 Loaders

• Follow all site safety procedures, lockout/tagout requirements, and underground work standards

• Maintain good housekeeping practices to support safe underground operations

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Experience working in mining or industrial environments preferred
• Ability to perform physically demanding labor, including shoveling and raking debris
• Familiarity with crushing and conveying plants preferred.
• The ability to work a rotating schedule of nights and days is an essential function of this role.
