We are looking for a hair stylist who has:

• A current and valid cosmetology license for the state in which you are applying
• Amazing hair styling and finishing skills
• A genuine passion for delivering exceptional service
• Strong communication skills

• Proven ability to collaborate effectively and contribute positively to a dynamic team environment.

 

Hey cosmetology students!!  We also accept applications from those attending cosmetology school (must have a valid cosmetology license to work as a hairstylist).

Responsibilities:

As a Stylist at Drybar, you are responsible for providing excellent client experiences, performing quality
blowouts and following Stylist Non-Negotiables. We also expect our Stylists to contribute to the success of
the team and the shop.

 

 

AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY

• Perform client consultations
• Shampooing, blowdrying and styling a client’s hair following Drybar’s Non-Negotiables
• Client product education
• Recommend product, tools and memberships to clients
• Completing shop side work; including but not limited to cleaning, sweeping, inventory, dishes and
re-stocking product shelves
• Meet scheduling requirements
• Consistent performance of responsibilities
• Attend any mandatory shop meetings

 

Qualifications:

ESSENTIAL POSITION FUNCTIONS

• Consistently perform styles to Drybar’s standards following our Stylist Non-Negotiables
• Communicate well with clients and team members
• Desire to provide outstanding customer service to clients
• Able to contribute and work well in a team environment
• Open to learning and receiving feedback from clients and shop leaders
• Upholds the brand's ten core values (DryBar's Heart&Soul)

 

 

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

• Valid cosmetology license for the state in which you are working

 

PHYSICAL DEMANDS
• Standing, walking and using hands, wrists and arms for up to 8 hours
• Lifting up to 15 pounds

WORK ENVIRONMENT
• Comfortable using hot tools and hair products
• Productive working in a fast paced, noisy environment
• Chemical exposure limited to Barbicide

EQUIPTMENT USED:
• Blowdryer (Weighs one pound and one ounce)
• Assorted hot tools
• Brushes, clips and rollers
