Cosmetology Instructor

We’re looking for an enthusiastic, knowledgeable and motivated Licensed Cosmetologist to join our education team! As a cosmetology instructor, you'll help students build the confidence, technical skills and professional skills they need to succeed in the beauty industry. You’ll guide students through both classroom theory and hands-on techniques, mentoring them as they transition to the clinic floor to serve clients while preparing them for state licensure and their future careers.

What you'll do:

• Teach engaging classroom theory and hands-on cosmetology techniques
• Prepare students for state licensing examination
• Guide and mentor students throughout their 1500 hour program
• Track student progress and provide constructive feedback
• Reinforce professionalism, sanitation safety and industry standards
• Coach students in guest services, retail and business-building skills.
• Foster a positive, encouraging and professional learning environment

What we’re looking for

• Licensed Cosmetologist with at least 3 years experience
• Passion for educating and mentoring others
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong organizational and time management abilities
• Positive attitude, professionalism and collaborative mindset
• Basic computer skills
