Position Summary:
We are seeking a passionate and experienced Cosmetology Instructor to educate, mentor, and inspire future beauty professionals. The ideal candidate is committed to student success, professionalism, and the creation of a positive learning environment while ensuring compliance with California State Board and school requirements.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

•  Teach cosmetology theory and practical skills in accordance with the curriculum. 
•  Demonstrate professional cosmetology techniques, safety, and sanitation procedures. 
•  Monitor and evaluate student progress and performance. 
•  Prepare lesson plans, classroom activities, and practical demonstrations. 
•  Maintain accurate attendance, grading, and student records. 
•  Provide coaching, mentorship, and constructive feedback to students. 
•  Prepare students for California State Board licensing examinations. 
•  Ensure compliance with school policies, safety standards, and state regulations. 
•  Maintain a clean, organized, and professional classroom and clinic floor. 
•  Participate in staff meetings, training, and professional development activities. 
•  Assist with student retention and promote a positive educational experience. 
•  Support admissions, orientation, and school events as needed. 
• Reliable, on time, and have classroom management. 

Qualifications:

•  Current California Cosmetology Instructor License. 
•  Minimum 5 years of industry experience preferred. 
•  Strong communication and interpersonal skills. 
•  Ability to motivate and engage students of diverse backgrounds. 
•  Professional appearance and demeanor. 
•  Basic computer skills and recordkeeping ability. 
•  Commitment to student success and educational excellence. 

Physical Requirements:

•  Ability to stand for extended periods. 
•  Ability to demonstrate cosmetology procedures and techniques. 
•  Ability to lift and carry supplies and equipment as needed. 

Schedule:

•  Santa Ana Location: Full-Time  8:30 AM- 5 PM  Tuesday - Friday or 10:00 AM - 5 pm Tuesday - Saturday 
• Lake Forest Location: Part-Time 10:00 AM - 5:00 pm  - Tuesday - Saturday  & Part-Time Evening 5:30 PM - 9:30 PM MONDAY - FRIDAY
