    About the Encore program

    • Overview: A paid, 12‑week internship designed for experienced talent who have taken a career break of 2 years or more (over a continuous period).
    • Your role: You'll be a contributor, not a trainee, from day 1-solving real problems, inventing solutions, and collaborating with TI teams.
    • Support: Personalized mentorship, coaching, and networking opportunities are built into the program.
    • Outcome: High‑performing participants will be considered for full‑time employment at the end of the program.

    Eligibility:

    • A career break of at least 2 years
    • Intent to return to a full‑time role at TI after the program.
    • No sponsorship required now or in the future (U.S. work‑authorization required).

    Do you have a passion for numbers? Texas Instruments (TI) is looking for an experienced Cost Accountant who enjoys working in fast-paced environment to join our team.

    Responsibilities include:

    • Working on monthly and quarterly close, P&L and balance sheet actuals, inventory valuation, inventory, capital and process control audits, pricing, and full compliance with Internal Control Checklist (ICC), TI Policies & Procedures, and GAAP
    • Ownership of OTC and AIP pricing activities, including new material set-up, quarterly pricing cycle, and impact analysis
    • Support contract accounting requirements for licensing, cost tracking, reimbursement (NRE), royalty implications, and inventory tracking
    • Independently determine the need for and appropriateness of balance sheet adjustments, such as inventory reserves, expense accruals, prepaids, and capital accruals
    • Collaborating with finance team and management team on operation performance reviews, finance actuals reviews, cost reduction activities, and ad hoc analysis
    • Continuously seeking process improvements, including but not limited to automation, efficiency and accuracy
    • Participating on and leading a variety of priorities teams and initiatives

    Minimum Requirements:

    • Bachelor''s degree in Accounting or related business degree
    • 2 years'' work-related experience

    Preferred Qualifications:

    • Proficiency in SAP, Excel, BPC and Business Objects
    • Fundamental understanding of semiconductor manufacturing processes
    • In-depth knowledge of accounting principles, including GAAP and managerial cost accounting
    • Strong organizational, strategic and critical thinking skills
    • Advanced time management and prioritization abilities
    • Strong understanding of internal control principles and accounting policies and procedures
    • Ability to influence and collaborate across broad levels of management and functions
    • Strong verbal and written communication skills
    • Strong presentation skills
    • Demonstrated strong analytical and problem solving skills
