    RTD Talent Solutions is representing a premier manufacturing company with offices in Gastonia, NC that is currently seeking a Cost Accountant to join their growing team. This is a full-time, permanent role, with great compensation and benefits.Our client was founded over 30 years ago, is a well-established leader in the metal fabrication and contract manufacturing space, with decades of experience delivering high-quality, end-to-end production solutions. Known for their reliability and long-standing client relationships, the organization specializes in transforming complex concepts into fully realized, production-ready components.Job Summary:As their Cost Accountant, you would be responsible for analyzing and managing product costing activities within a manufacturing environment, ensuring accurate cost reporting, inventory valuation, and financial analysis to support operational efficiency and profitability.Key job duties, among others:Analyze product costs, material usage, labor, and overhead to ensure accurate cost accounting.Maintain and reconcile inventory transactions, standard costs, and manufacturing variances.Prepare and analyze monthly cost reports, inventory valuations, and margin analyses.Partner with operations leadership to identify cost-saving opportunities and process improvements.Assist with month-end close activities related to inventory, cost accounting, and manufacturing reporting.#J-18808-Ljbffr
