In this role, youll be responsible for assisting management in all facets of cost accounting, including:
• Direct labor reporting • Labor Rates • Overhead Rates • Standard Cost • PPV (Production, Planning, and Value) and Material Variances • Operations budgets • Sales and gross margin reporting • Finance representative on new product development teams
Additionally, the Cost Accountant I provides detailed budget and actual data to the Operations Team. This role will work directly with the Director of Operations and staff on the reporting of operations metrics.
Responsibilities:
• Labor reporting • Project Accountings • Operations Expenses • New product development costing • Inventory and Material Variance Analysis • Standard Cost of Machines & Parts, both purchased and manufactured
Qualifications:
• Bachelors Degree - Accounting/Finance • 1-3 Years of relevant experience • Previous experience in Cost Accounting preferred
Working Conditions:
• Normal office environment with regular trips to production floor.
