Key Responsibilities for the Manufacturing Cost Accountant:

• 
  
• Maintain and analyze standard costs for manufactured products.
  • Support estimating and project teams with accurate product costing.
  • Monitor production variances, labor costs, material usage, and overhead allocations.
  • Participate in month-end close activities related to inventory and cost of goods sold.
  • Support inventory control, reconciliations, and physical count processes.
  • Identify and implement improvements in costing and inventory reporting processes

Qualifications for the Manufacturing Cost Accountant:

• 
  
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
  • 3-5+ years of cost accounting experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Strong knowledge of inventory management, job costing, and BOM structures.
  • Advanced Excel skills and experience with ERP systems
