We are currently seeking a talented and detail-oriented Cost Accountant with manufacturing experience to join our finance team.

Cost Accountant Responsibilities:

Conduct regular cost analysis to identify and report on variances between standard and actual costs
Monitor and analyze production costs, providing insights and recommendations for cost optimization
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather data and ensure accurate cost allocation
Maintain and update cost accounting records, ensuring compliance with accounting standards
Prepare and analyze cost reports, providing management with timely and accurate information for decision-making
Assist in the development of annual budgets and forecasts
Participate in inventory management and valuation processes
Identify opportunities for process improvements and cost-saving initiatives

Cost Accountant Qualifications:

Proven experience as a Cost Accountant in a manufacturing environment
Solid understanding of cost accounting principles and practices
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other relevant accounting software
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Excellent attention to detail and organizational abilities
Effective communication and interpersonal skills
