Additionally, a new state-of-the-art building opened in Shelton, CT.Ranpak Holdings Corp. is a New York Stock Exchange listed company (NYSE: PACK).SummaryThe Cost Accountant will analyze, process, maintain, and report transactions primarily involving fixed assets, inventory, general ledger, and machine costing.Planning, studying, and collecting data to determine costs of business activity such as raw material purchases, inventory and labor.Accumulate and apply overhead costs as required by generally accepted accounting principles.Analyzing actual manufacturing costs and preparing periodic reports comparing standard costs to actual production costs.Coordinate, process and analyze production data monthly from ERP SAP system.Support person to assist planners with closing production orders.Work with Engineering/Product Management/Purchasing cost development new machines.Manage Automation projects book/reconcile revenue recognition based on validation costs monthly.Set up/maintain internal projects for new product initiatives.Provide support Engineering to ensure labor hours are being booked to projects consistently and timely.Calculate, enter, and post transactions to the SAP General Ledger.Provide supporting schedules, reconciliations, and roll forward worksheets for various General Ledger Accounts.Accounting cross functional team member for item master additions/changes.Assist in the audit/reconciliation of the physical inventory with Operations.Backup to the Senior Cost Accountant.Assists with related special projects, as required.Other duties as assigned.QualificationsBachelor's degree in Business Administration and or Accounting.Experience with SAPTeam player willing to assist others to work through issues to resolution.3‑5 years related experience in cost accounting.Detail‑oriented.Strong computer proficiency.Knowledge or experience in SAP is a plus required to have working experience with MS Office (Excel).Ability to multi‑task.Supervisory ResponsibilitiesNoneEOE STATEMENT We are an equal employment opportunity employer.
