Position Overview
The Cost Accountant performs a variety of tasks to support the Cost Accounting Manager in ensuring the accuracy of financial records. The position is primarily responsible for the cost accounting function and ensuring the accuracy of inventory records. Other key responsibilities include, but are not limited to, reconciliation of general ledger accounts, month-end closing duties, posting journal entries, assisting with internal / external audits, supporting activities for periodic physical inventory counts, participating in the budget / forecast processes, maintenance of accounting records as assigned, ad-hoc reporting and analysis as needed.
This is a hybrid role with (typically 3 days in the office + 2 days remote) and will be based at our regional office in Tacoma, Washington.
