Cost Accountant
Salary: $80,000–$100,000 + Bonus

Key Responsibilities of the Cost Accountant:
- Support the Operations Finance Manager as a backup and key partner
- Assist with month-end close, inventory valuation, and roll-forward analysis
- Maintain inventory relief processes for subcomponents and finished goods
- Conduct quarterly physical inventories and cycle counts, resolving discrepancies
- Establish and update standard costs for manufactured products
- Analyze cost accounting data to identify trends and improvement opportunities
- Develop cost structures across labor, overhead, and operational processes
- Provide strategic recommendations to improve cost efficiency and profitability
- Stay current on industry trends, tools, and best practices
- Assist with special projects and ad hoc financial analysis
Qualifications for the Cost Accountant:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
- 2+ years of cost accounting experience
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and the Office Suite
- Experience with ERP systems and financial reporting tools
- Solid understanding of GAAP and cost accounting principles
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and support decision-making
