We help CFOs navigate strategic, operational, and accounting challenges. We regularly assist them in preparing for a public or a private transaction and work closely with the M&A group in providing pre‑ and post‑transaction support. Come and join us in our journey to helping other finance and accounting executives conceptualize and develop the finance and accounting infrastructure to scale for success.YOUR ROLE.Responsibilities include but are not limited to:Lead a team for day‑to‑day activities of accounts payable, cash disbursements, invoicing/billing, collections, payroll, and general accounting functions for clients across diverse industriesManage the month‑end close process including reconciliations and monthly financial reports for clientsDevelop and analyze cost accounting standards and processes for business activitiesAssess production costs including utilization of equipment and labor, overhead, and recommend opportunities for improvementEvaluate standard to actual costs and prepare internal cost reports and audit supportRecommend and provide best practices for inventory management processes that align to ASC 330 and IAS 2Perform reconciliations, analyzing production costs, inventory valuations, and margin variancesUnderstand the procure‑to‑pay process and recommend best practicesDrive initiatives to improve profitability, controls, supply chain management and demand planningPrepare and lead initiatives for adjusting accounting records from historical cash basis to an accrual basis of accounting (e.g. under US GAAP requirements)Coordinate and complete annual auditsAssign projects and direct staff to ensure compliance and accuracyDevelop cash forecasts in assisting management with forecasted cash flowsPrepare management reports with KPIsParticipate in and drive business developmentYOUR EXPERIENCE.The successful candidate will have:Driven, self‑starter and accountableThe ability to work collaboratively in a team environmentStrong analytical and problem‑solving skillsStrong verbal and written communication skillsExcellent communication, interpersonal and project/time management skillsAbility to present in front of C‑suite and senior managementBe creative and think outside the box and thrive on new challengesBachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or relevant fieldProfessional designation, i.e. CA, CMA, CPA, MBA or equivalentExperience in delivering projects that cover the full life cycle of inventory assessment, design and implementation supportExperience in leading team members, projects, and initiativesExperience with emerging technologies and knowledge and use of accounting/finance systems – Netsuite, Intaact, Quickbooks, Adaptive, Blackline, CCH, OneStream is preferred10+ years of work experience, specifically related to cost accounting and controller rolesProficiency in MS Office applicationsTravel will be required for this roleCohnReznick is an equal‑opportunity employer, committed to a diverse and inclusive team to drive business results and create a better future every day for our team members, clients, partners, and communities.
