OverviewReporting to the Global Plant Controller, the Cost Accounting Manager is a key contributor within the Accounting organization. This individual partners closely with Operations, Supply Chain, Manufacturing, and Distribution to drive financial performance and cost visibility across the enterprise.ResponsibilitiesLead and develop members of the Cost Accounting teamOversee cost accounting processes across manufacturing, distribution, and logisticsAnalyze trucking, warehousing, and freight expenses to improve cost visibility and controlPartner with Operations, Supply Chain, and Distribution teams to evaluate and reduce costsDetermine and validate landed costs for raw materials and turnkey itemsSupport budgeting and forecasting processes related to production, logistics, and distributionDrive continuous improvement initiatives focused on cost reduction and inventory optimizationEnsure accuracy and integrity of inventory valuation and reportingQualificationsMust be available for relocation to Idaho Falls, Idaho (corporate relocation assistance provided)Minimum of 4 years of progressive experience in cost accountingStrong background in cost accounting within manufacturing environmentsExperience with logistics, distribution, trucking, or warehousing cost structures preferredExperience leading accounting teams of two or more professionalsDemonstrated success as a change agentStrong communication skills with the ability to influence a variety of audiencesExperience working in a matrixed environmentAbility to manage multiple priorities and time sensitive deliverablesFamiliarity with transactional and reporting systems#J-18808-Ljbffr
