Our manufacturing client is looking for a Cost Accounting Manager in North Milwaukee .This role is OnsiteRequirementsStrong manufacturing cost accounting experience is critical, particularly in complex inventory, core exchanges, and high transaction environmentsHands on operational accounting mindsetAdvanced Excel skills required; BI exposure a plusLabor management calculationsLead the cost accounting function, including oversight and mentorship of the Cost Accountant.Own and continuously improve standard costing methodologies, including annual cost roll, overhead rate updates, and BOM/BOR governance.Validate and monitor standard vs. actual cost performance; ensure root-cause analysis and corrective actions with Operations.Inventory Accounting & ControlsPartner with Operations, who owns inventory control and cycle counting, to review results, validate financial impacts, and ensure accurate accounting for cycle counts, physical inventories, and inventory reserves.Help develop reporting that identifies aging, excess/obsolete exposure, scrap trends, and accuracy metrics across all facilities.Manufacturing & Margin AnalyticsDeliver monthly gross margin reporting by product line, customer, location, and job.Provide insights on product profitability, cost drivers, and operational performance trends.Cross-Functional PartnershipCollaborate with Operations leaders on new product launches, ensuring BOM accuracy, routing setup, cost estimates, and ongoing cost tracking.Serve as finance's primary partner to operations leadership for all cost and inventory matters.Systems, Reporting, and Process DevelopmentAct as the finance owner of the Infor Syteline ERP cost and inventory modules.Build automated dashboards and reporting capabilities (through Power BI Team) to support decision making and improve visibility.#J-18808-Ljbffr
