LHH is currently working with a solid food/beverage client to fill a newly created, Cost Accounting Manager/Supervisor role. This will be a very "hands‑on" role to focus on all the cost accounting areas for the organization. The role is being created for this person to help improve and streamline all the cost accounting procedures and areas throughout the company's organization and locations nationally.This will be a local HYBRID role. NO fully remote people need to apply! The company will assist with relocation for someone out of state looking to relocate to Oregon.Job OverviewVery "hands‑on" cost accounting role to handle daily cost accounting areasFocus on resetting methodology and process areas in the cost processDevelop/implement these improvements, communicating with operations and other departments, efficiencies, procedures and being able to help roll out these improvementsCost controls, inventory, standard cost areas – cost allocations, multiple product lines, geographic/national costing areas/productsStandard cost areasInvolved with the general daily cost accounting functions; will work directly with the corporate accounting team in these areas as wellIdeal ProfileBachelor's Degree – Accounting, Finance or Business (Accounting related)CPA/CMA, Public Accounting a big plus but not mandatory8+ years of recent standard cost accounting experienceManufacturing in the Food/Beverage preferred or Consumer Product manufacturing; similar areas ok (id: grain, retail…etc); doesn't want to see someone out of just industrial manufacturingMS Dynamics or larger ERP system experience – especially working within a cost module areaGood communications and interpersonal skills – ability to communicate effectively with accounting and non-accounting areasGood "roll up sleeves" type of person to handle the daily cost functions and help improve the cost accounting proceduresThe role will not have any direct reports, even with the "manager" title, but wants someone more at that level with the work and supervision to help implement new procedures around the cost functionsSalary = $130k - $145kBenefits = EXCELLENT benefit packing including medical, dental, vision, 401K/equity match, Life Insurance, PTO and other company perksPlease email me your resume at dan.olchowy@lhh.com to discuss further!#J-18808-Ljbffr
