Job DescriptionCost Accounting SupervisorResponsibilitiesManage daily needs of staff, ensuring all tasks and responsibilities are covered.Communicate and present results to senior management across different departments and geographical locations.Possess strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.Respond to internal and external auditor requests.Review and approve monthly account reconciliations.Review monthly balance sheet, income statement, and changes in financial position/budget variance analysis, summarizing and communicating findings to upper management.Partner with operations and accounting personnel to provide advice and technical assistance with operational transactions or processes, correlating financial accounting accurately.Provide guidance on root cause analysis and implementation of necessary corrections.Oversee the review of system annual standard costs and execute changes as needed.Assist with the monthly review of project budgets.Develop automated streamline processes for reporting or data analysis.Aid in the preparation of annual budgets for review by upper management.Complete ad-hoc financial analysis and cost accounting projects as required.Desired Skills & Experience / QualificationsBachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance with a minimum of 3 years of accounting, auditing, or relevant experience.Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel.Experience with Oracle, Hyperion, Smart View, Snowflake, Power BI, and Alteryx is a plus.Familiarity with a manufacturing standard cost environment.High level of dedication to meeting customer requests and required time commitments.Ability to relate manufacturing activities, system transactions, and processes to financial outcomes.#J-18808-Ljbffr
